Welcome to the International Cesarean Awareness Network of Connecticut's Chapter Website!


 

International Cesarean Awareness Network is a nonprofit organization founded by Esther Booth Zorn in 1982.

The mission of ICAN is to prevent unnecessary cesareans through education, to provide support for cesarean recovery, and promote VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). 

ICAN of Connecticut was founded by Danielle Elwood in 2008.
