More doctors are receptive to VBACs, and some doctors personally do not like to do them at all, but the hospital in general will do VBAC. They do not use pitocin or any methods of induction for VBAC mothers, and they are required to have a full IV and constant monitoring during labor.

Hospital will not induce VBAC patients, requires some kind of IV line open, does not require constant monitoring but monitors much more closely because of the previous cesarean. Nurse I spoke with stressed that most of the on staff doctors will want a c-section if you go over your due date.
